What is a HEIC file?

HEIC is the photo format iPhones and iPads use by default. It keeps photos about half the size of a JPG at the same quality, but many websites, Windows PCs and government or school forms don't accept it. Converting to PDF gives you a file anyone can open, and lets you send several photos as one document.

Questions

How do I convert HEIC to PDF on my iPhone?

Open this page in Safari, tap Choose files and pick your photos. Tap Convert to PDF, then Download PDF. The PDF is saved in the Files app under Downloads.

Can I convert HEIC to PDF on Windows?

Yes. Windows often can't open HEIC files without an extra app, but this page reads them in Chrome, Edge and Firefox with nothing to install.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is converted inside your browser, so your files never leave your phone or computer. That makes it safe for IDs, contracts and bank statements.

Can I select the text in the PDF?

Pages from PDFs you add keep their text. Photos, documents, spreadsheets and text files are turned into page images, so they look the same everywhere but their text can't be selected.

Is it free?

Yes, with no sign-up, no watermark and no file limit.
